In this internal training session, Balduin gave us an introduction to RDF. We talked about what graphs are, how RDF represents data as triples, and how these triples form graphs. We also discussed how this ties into linked data and why it holds promise for interoperability. We briefly touched on ontologies and inference, and then looked at some shortcomings of RDF, in particular how it differs from labeled property graphs.
